Ross Lighting Grow is a mobile demonstration and education experience showcasing next-generation controlled-environment agriculture. Built inside a custom-fitted, solar-powered electric van, our traveling exhibit brings cutting-edge horticultural lighting technology directly to communities, schools, farmers markets, and events across Oregon and Washington.
Step inside, and you’ll see live plants — often fast-growing edibles like microgreens — thriving under a patented lighting system engineered to mimic the full spectrum of natural sunlight. No soil sprawl, no greenhouse required. Just a glimpse of what the future of food production can look like, wherever we park.
The Technology
At the heart of Ross Lighting Grow is a custom-engineered LED grow light; patented, water-cooled, and designed from the ground up to support serious plant growth in a compact footprint.
Full-spectrum lighting. Built with high-performance LEDs, the system is tuned to deliver the range of light wavelengths plants rely on for healthy growth from seed to harvest.
Water-cooled, not fan-cooled. Instead of relying on banks of fans to manage heat, the light uses a water-cooled design. That means a quieter, more stable growing environment, without hot air blowing across your plants or vents needed to exhaust it. A cleaner, more efficient approach to climate control in a tight space.
Built for real results. This isn’t a proof-of-concept sitting on a shelf. It’s a system that’s already growing healthy, vigorous plants. Now it’s ready to be seen in action.

Sustainability isn’t an afterthought here — it’s built into every part of the vehicle. The van itself is fully electric, and solar panels mounted on top help power the systems on board.
